Catching Light (at a wedding) and one photo of a Flag

I attended a wedding in October. Princeton has beautiful light in the Fall. The wedding was precious. But not sharing those photos in public space.

Some light on these objects here that I liked.

Lots going on in these stairs or so I thought then.

I was facinated by these because of texture. For awhile.

this looked like an earring–but for the ballroom!

and while I was driving back from the wedding… on this small highway… before hitting the ... read more »

Photos from Princeton

Posted 5th Jun '11 4 comments Posted In The Vault

It was a pleasure to spend some time with Lucy  ( @fictional100 ) again in Princeton. This time we actually had a chance to walk around the campus since the weather was so beautiful. We discussed my current WIP MS, literature, stories, workshops, the publishing industry, and the life of trees.

I thank her for her patience while I wanted to snap some photos….with my dying battery…I was turning it off and then on and then one photo and then off then on and then another photo until I just gave up and accepted the battery was dead.

Another time… : )

So much green and beautiful architecture all around Princeton.

We also stopped by this man’s shop in Venice, Italy who makes masks. He was a character! He started acting in the masks he makes!

Thereafter, it was only natural that a discussion related to twitter should follow…are our avatars our masks?

a walk around stains of colors in Nicolosi, Sicily

Posted 8th Apr '11 1 comment Posted In The Vault

Some shots from a walk around the sleepy, quaint, colorful, rustic, village of Nicolosi in Sicily. Most people don’t stay here and those who do, do so only to hike up Mt. Etna. Everyone knows everyone and is sincerely warm and welcoming despite lack of communication in English. I really enjoyed staying here and had the best Italian food I have ever had.
